Card Reader Kaput.

I Have A Medion Pc with internal card reader, I only use the SD slot, and not often at that, and always with due reverence.
last week I downloaded some Pics to HD and remover the card, inserting the next one I felt that it would not push fully home - Medion are arranging replacement under warranty but I am appalled at the apparent delicacy of these units.
Has anyone eles any experience of card reader malfunction,or am I just unlucky?

I have a mediagear external card reader and it's behaved faultlessly for a year now; perhaps you're unlucky.

Good luck anyway

Thanks Seedie, you've partially restored my confidence. Main worry was other items ie. cameras and mp3 player which use this memory type and would probably be impractical to repair if similarly afflicted!
