Just purchased a Video Capture card but unsure of which software to use.

I want to transfer some old holiday VHS tape from video recorder thru scart lead to composite (yellow lead) video in on capture card to get it onto the PC, then, finally onto DVD-r...

I have found Ulead Video Studio 4.0SE on an old capture card disc, would this do the job..?

Please suggest other software so i can perform further research as i would like to retain good quality, or, as good as on the original video tape...

thanks in advance...

thanks for the replies, both look good software. Will investigate these more as i've played around with Ulead Video Studio and don't like the learning curve...

ulead is the best for beginners and intermediate`s, stick with it and experiment. You can download great tutorials from uleads website. I doubt you will find a more intuitive prog than this.
