Can't Watch DVD

Ever since I upgraded from Windows 2000 Pro to Windows XP Pro I can't watch a DVD movie anymore. I am using Intervideo Win DVD to watch a film. The error message reads: "Create Overlay failed. Please lower your screen resolution or color depth and try again". I have already changed my screen resolution but the problem still persists. I am sure that the Win DVD player that I have is XP compatible. What seems to be the problem? What should I do to remedy this problem.

Thanks.

Try seeing if there is a patch on the Win DVD site for XP..
