Cant tell how to lock workstation in xp prof?

Hello people,

Just a quick question how do i lock my worstation in windows Xp prof? i tried alt ctrl delete it just bring the task bar with no option for lockin. my mates got xp home and there is a option for it!. thanks for any advice!

I run Xp Pro on my laptop client and my desktop host PC. I can lock both By using CTR/ALT/DEL and lock ubder the shutdown menu.

There is also a shortcut of using the Winkey +L

Tried the short cut, it just brings me in to the log on screen? is that the lock for xp prof? because it returned me to the exact state like all the programs open! I just wondered because is seen the lock in home!

First go Start/Control Panel choose User Accounts and untick Use Fast User Switching.

Now use


to lock the pc.
