Can't shutdown after Standby

Hi,

Been having a problem recently about Shutdowns. If I start the computer out of Standby and then try to shutdown, the computer just hangs and the only way to shutdown is holding the power button. If I have not used standby, the computer can shutdown successfully. The problem only occurs when I have used the standby feature.

I have a feeling it could be down to InCD. When I attempt to shutdown, Windows says InCD is not responding and gives me the option to End Task. I end InCD and the Windows Shutting down screen appears but then just hangs at this point.

Can anyone advise what could be going wrong?
