can't see anything on screen. help! system restore

hi, i can't actually see what i'm typing here. i've been trying out new themes and downloaded a vista theme from topthemes. after trying to change it back to classic windows my screen just went black! i can see i cons but can't see any words. i can read your posts though so please help! i've tried going back to last know good config but that didn't help. how can i system restore? remember i can't see any words! can you get to it via the run command??

thanks mgmcc, i managed to do it the normal way by bringing up a website that had step by step instructions with exact size pictures and just guessed my way around, i managed to hit all the buttons and it's back to normal. crikey that was scary.

think i'll run avg etc now!
