Recently I bought for my daughter the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Junior version on PC CD-Rom.
It installs fine on my machine but when I try to play, or run, it it tries to start but then just 'dies'.
It plays OK on a friend's machine when he tried.
Both mine and my friend's PCs are about a year old and run Windows XP with plenty of hard drive space etc.
The system requirements for the game are Windows 95/98, 16MB Ramn, 2MB video card (DX7 compliant), 70MB hard drive space, DX7 compliant sound card.
Anyone know what my PC is missing, so it can't play the game? I thought it would have everything the game required - I've tried playing it in the facility that lets you 'revert' to Windows 98 (can't remember what it's called) but no luck.
Maybe it's 'DX7 compliant', whatever that means?

sorry - it's working now! Downloaded a new version of Microsoft DX and it worked.
