Can't run dos based program

  meldrewtwo 19:21 25 Jul 04

I am unable to open my Quicken program, I receive a message "c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt, the systemfile is not suitable for running ms dos and windows applications, choose 'close' to terminate application".
I am running XP Pro. and this used to work, so I assume it must be something I have done.
Anyone any ideas please?

try right clicking on the program icon and select the 'compatability' tab. Change it to a older version of windows, click ok and try it then.

Re-installed windows as an upgrade which seems to have done the trick.
