Can't reinstall MS hotfix!

Belarc Advisor tells me KB929969 needs reinstalling; it is not showing in my Add/Remove programs list. I've downloaded this update separately and tried to install it but it doesn't complete and also Windows Update doesn't pick up on it either.

Is there a correct way to safely remove some elements of KB929969 that remain on my XP SP2 computer, please? Thanks. TC.

In Add/Remove programs make sure Show Updates is ticked at the top. Apologies if you've already done this.

Can you not reinstall it direct from Belarc Advisor.I am sure that I installed mine from there when one of my up-dates was missing.

maybe its an up-date of an up-date,If I remember right there was a bad up-date which caused a lot of problems on the 10th of last month and they had to repair it,

as it appears not to be affecting the computer in any way. I notice this update was auto installed last March but it's only fairly recently that BA has flagged it up for reinstall.

If any problems develop then I will do a Windows repair install which entails downloading all the critical updates again. Thanks for the help anyway. TC.
