Can't play files with .mov

I am failing to play files with .mov extension. Windows media player says it can't play them. Quicktime says codec not found. Any suggestions?

Try uninstalling / reinstalling quicktime get the latest version from the quicktime site

Try Realplayer - I prefer playing them on that anyway as you get more control.
