You are, presumably, using a DVD-ROM drive...:-)

Presumably you have also checked all the leads for proper connections and, in Device Manager, that there are no exclamation marks alongside your drive indicating that something is wrong?

Also that you are using PowerDVD or a similar program to play DVDs?

A bare question on the lines you have posted is virtually impossible, as OneSirKnight suggests, to answer with any semblance of resolving it.

did it work before?

if you use xp try system restore to a time it was working.

or click control panel/system/hardware/device manager/ and right click your drive and select uninstall.

reboot and windows will detect the drive and reinstall it with the correct drivers again.

Do you mean it doesn't Autoplay, or the drive doesn't work at all, whatever you do?
