cant load win98

i have installed new hdd have partitioned and formatted , when win98 starts to set up install i get the message

message su995035 an invalid command option was specified check the command line and try again, or type setup/? for help on the set up command options (ox13ab).

please can any one tell me what this means.

Sorry to disagree but he said he had re-formatted. This KB article only applies when upgrading the OS.

I assmume your are using a full version CD and not an upgrade version , and that you don't have an OS set up on another hard disk.

There may be a problem with the CD. Try cleaning the CD. Other users with this problem during a clean setup eventually made it work if they kept trying.

I would say start from scratch and use Fdisk again
