I have no idea why - they've worked fine in the past but now when I try I get a message which says:
c/windows/sytem32/autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft windows applications

Thanks Maj,

tried those, but I couldn't get either fix to work.
Perhaps I could try a windows install - the repair one - not the format first.

The scanner is now working ok and I can at least print text by using the wrong driver.
I'd like to be able to print pictures too. This printer -Epson stylus C62- has been installed before and ran perfectly well why does the driver installation suddenly give me the message:

" c/windows/sytem32/autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft windows applications"
