I've just acquired a cheap Compaq Armada 7400 laptop which I've just managed to load Windows 98 on to. I now have a problem with the display I am unable to increase itto full screen. The slider in Display/Properties/Settings just will not adjust, I have tried querying Google and found an M/S article which unfortunately hasn't helped me. I guess it's a driver problem, does anyone ahave any ideas please?

Not sure on this but think you may be able to adjust from the monitor settings, same as with the on-screen controls of a CTX monitor. If so, the function will one of the F keys combined with a Fn. key somewhere on the keyboard. j.

Thanks for your responses, didn't get anywhere using function key, but the driver that bsod found was indeed the one that solved the problem, thanks again.
