Can't Hibernate

  Boffin Boy 23:51 17 Oct 04

On my computer there is no hibernate tab in Power Managment so my computer is not hibernation enabled, however I wanted to ask if there was any way to enable hibernation on the computer (maybe in BIOS)?

Thank You.

In the Bios ensure that Power Management is Enabled for User Defined.

That's the case with my Award Bios, which dates back to 1999 (although have been on XP Pro for about a year).

Thanks, I have tried editing this setting, however I only had the choice of APM, ACPI, or APM/ACPI, I tried APM and APM/ACPI but neither helped. However I do believe the answer lies in BIOS.
