Can't format DVD+RW disc

  dangerusone 08:48 10 Apr 08

I have a DVD+RW disc (make = Tuff Disc) at the moment it has a film on it. I wish to wipe the film off and use it again but when I right click on it in My Computer it doesn't give me the option to formatt.
In the past I have used this option to formatt memory sticks.
Can anyone help.

Why not use the Erase option?

record over it?

If you are using windows software, it only works with CDRW, you need a package like Nero to perform a DVD RW.

Problem solved,I used the "Erase DVD" facility in Nero and it seems to have done the trick.

I must admit to feeling a little foolish about not looking for solutions closer to home before posting.

Thanks Wotbus@,johnnyrocker and Terry
