I have a samsung SCX-4200 all-in-one Laser printer, I've scanned lots of photo's and put them in my pictures folder before, but for some reason when I scan pictures now and put them in my pictures, they don't show up any more in my pictures, I've tried looking every where for them, no matter how many times I scan it I can't find it.

Scan another pic. and make a note of the file name it is given.

Type that into the search box and it should take you to whereever they are.

Presumably the scanner has some preferences in the driver. Go into them and change the place where it scans to back to where you want.

Then this.
The default 'Computer' place is
My documents/ My pictures
However the scanner may have its own 'default place'
If it has it will almost certainly be found in 'C/Programs/Samsung'
Not all scanners[not sure about yours] scan to JPEG.
by default some scan to BitMap others to TIFF.
so at the next scan- [as need said] take not of the title of the image.

Then come out of scanning, go Start Search and select Pictures Music video , type in the picture title, then a . then star[Shift8]
This will look for the picture title what ever extension it has been given by the scanner.

Also remember scans can be very large files -especially if Bitmap and can take the computer a while to process then.
