Can't connect to the iTunes Store

When I try to connect to the iTunes Store I get the following message, "itunes could not connect to the itunes store. The network connection timed out."

This has just happened within the last week or so. My internet connection appears to be working normally.

I've tried the iTunes help suggested fixes to no avail (ie flushing the DNS Resolver Cache and renaming my "hosts" file to "backup-hosts"). I don't think it's a coincidence that I can't connect with "Sky Anytime".

i have had this with my isp i had problems between 1630 and 2300 they were speed shaping and blocking music downloads. look for forums about sky and see if anyone else is haveing the same problem
