Can't click from Outlook Express to internet

  Jeremy01 21:25 07 Jul 09

I have lost the links from my Outlook Express programme to my internet/browser. I can get round this on underlined links by "copying shortcut" and pasting; but this doesn't work with the link buttons, where I'm not given this option.

I think this may have happened when I downloaded Google Chrome, but then got fed up with it and deleted the Chrome programme. I think the computer may be trying to link to a non-existent Chrome programme.

I can't find any way of curing this looking at Outlook Express Help - can anyone advise how to reset? Thanks Jeremy

Try a System Restore back to before installing Chrome.

So which browser are you using now? Assuming it's IE go to Tools - Internet Options - Programs tab, and under Default Web Browser click Make Default. Click Apply and OK.

click here - applies to Outlook Express as well.

"Thanks Sea Urchin. solved it. So simple when you know how Jeremy"

Glad to hear it's sorted - rather than emailing it's always best to post your response here on the thread. That way everybody can see the outcome.
