can't access websites via start up programs

this is a weird one.when i click to go on2 a site from start up programs i get the message 'Printing Error.before you can print you need to set up a printer'.thing is i don't have a printer set up and haven't attempted to.i've restored the pc but it makes no difference.

well i use opera but it's always been the case that sites open up with IE yes.clicking on the icons ( desktop/taskbar) isn't a problem but from start up menu i get that message every time i try 2 access sites.

OK - I am not familiar with Opera, never used it.

Sorry, I'm just about stuck if the properties look OK.

Try dragging a website icon off the desktop onto the Start button. The Start Menu will open, drop it on there. Does this new icon work?

VOG ok then more mysteries.double clicking brings up ZA asking me 4 access of Rundll 32.exe.i say yes and all i get is that print error message.right clicking 2 open and there is no open option-print is at the top.

unzipped it and got the message 'cannot import. specified file is not a registry script'.
