Can't access mp3 email attachment - why not?

  stewyj 08:54 02 Nov 07

A pal sent me an mp3 (in an attachment to an email) of a song I've been after for many years -very exciting - but when I tried to save it to the desktop in the way I've always done, I found that I couldn't: the writing around the attachment (track details etc) was greyed-out!!

Went up to File, Save Attachments, but that was greyed-out too.

I'm using Windows XP and OutLook Express 6.

Any ideas?

I'm pulling my hair out, here!!!

Johnny -

Huge, wobbling THANKS for your simple solution
to my annoying can't-access-mp3-attachment problem.

I did as you suggested and all was fine.

- Gratefully,
