Okay I have a canon pixma ip4200...I'm trying to print onto a printable cdr....But the cdr only seems to go halfway in! And nothing prints..

Im using the canon software, I have put the cd tray in the right feeder (at the bottom) can anyone think of anything I'n doing wrong? I have the cd tray the right way as well.

Any ideas?>

Not familiar with the Canon CD printer but with the Epson ones you must ensure that the carrier tray is lined up with the markers on the printer carrier guides AND ensure that there is clearance space at the rear of the printer to permit full travel of the tray as it progresses in/out/in/out again.

Epson printers need 10+ cm clearance at the rear of the machine to allow for the tray movement. If they don't get this the print fails.
