My printer has recently printed incorrect colors. I've done deep cleaning, aligning the print heads, and nozzle check. I don't know what else to do. The only colors that are correct are black and blue. There is plenty of ink in all of the cartridges. Not sure what to do next. I know these are fairly inexpensive printers, but I reallllly like this thing, and would like to fix it on the cheap.

See if you can find a solution at Printer Problems

A little info on the nature of the other colour hue would help.

The printer software determines what colour and how much is deposited to build them age.

So what can make things go awry? Type/colour of paper/viewing light. Day/artificial?

If indoors the light bounce' off decor/furnishings all these will make difference.

In a printing works 'light boxes with corrected lumens are used to examine proofs.

What else, in a machine with multi tanks is it possible for a tank to be inserted in the wrong slot?

Is the printer software disc intended for versions of the printer 4/5/6 colour?

Give as much detail you can.

This may sound obvious but do you have the colour cartridges in the correct slots.
