I am haveing trouble getting the printed color the same as on screen, I have tried different setting with no luck, I must confess to useing cheaper inks.

Is there much of a difference?

To get a true colour match u need to get you monitor calibrated properly, the monitor could be as much at fault as the printer/printer ink.

I have gone through the monitor callibration setup
