Canon i865

I have just bought anew computer with Vista. My i865 worked OK on XP. Attempts to install on the new computer produce error messages even when attempting the installation in compatability mode for XP or W 98.

Canon do not seem to offer a download for a new driver. Any suggestions?

I agree that the Canon download page doesn't seem to list anything that is specifically called a Vista driver for your printer. Have you tried downloading item 20 on this page? click here

It might be worth a try.

The i865 definitely works with Vista, I used it for over a year before switching to an all-in-one printer scanner.

You do need to install the Add On driver suggested by Pineman100. Follow the links through for Vista, English and you should end up with a driver called b7100MUx.exe.

Thanks for the info. The driver within Vista works fine. The problem lay in trying to install from the disk which was unneccessary.
