Every time I need to get on your site I have to use IE, because with aol when I get to your site and try to log-in it will not let me, why? please

I use the combined AOL/TalkTalk home page with both Firefox and IE7 without difficulty.

The reason could be that you have too high an MTU figure configured - it should be 1432. See:

The 1432 figure applies to both AOL and TalkTalk.

Thanks Stuartli, brilliant, it was set at 1492 for some reason. Have set it now at 1432 and for the first time I am writing this after opening it from aol.

Glad to be of help. Higher MTU figures are common (the Windows Default is 1500), but AOL/TT decided to go even lower.

It doesn't affect everyone, but part of the reason is that if you use the CD-TOM installation disk rather than configure an AOL/TT internet connection manually, the 1432 figure is set automatically.
