Cannot view or download pdf files

Had this problem for a couple of weeks now. I'm sure its an easy fix but its got the better of me.
Basically, whilst on the net whenever I attempt to view or download any pdf file I get the internet explorer error message saying it has encountered a problem. As usual I click "Don't Send" to get rid of the message and all internet pages, regardless of type or content, disappear with it.

Its really irritating.

Usually uninstalling the Acrobat Reader and re-installing a new copy of the latest version will solve this.

I've seen quite a number of times when the IE plug-in reader module has become corrupted - I have guessed it's maybe after Windows updates, but don't know for sure. A re-install always seems to cure it.

Thanks that did the trick.

Try Foxit reader, smaller, faster and better free program.
