Cannot switch bluetooth on

I have a bluetooth card in my laptop and since I have had a new hard drive fitted (and re-loaded with XP Pro), I have no way of switching bluetooth on. I have checked device manager and it working correctly, but there is no bluetooth option in the control panel - how do I fix it, any ideas?

In Network Connections from Control Panel is there a Bluetooth connection showing? If so is it enabled?

It is in Network Connections as 'enabled' but there is still no bluetooth option for switching it on!

Have you reloaded the software drivers for the card? If so I suggest you post back the exact make & model of the bluetooth card and we`ll direct you to the manufacturers website for the latest versions. You can then delete any existing drivers from Add/Remove programs and reload the new one`s.

That should then give you a Bluetooth icon on the desktop.
