Cannot Save Website To Favourites Folders in IE7

Hi,

I have a strange problem that I have never experienced before.

I have recently re-installed Vista on a new hard disk in my desktop and I copied my favourites over from my laptop also running Vista and IE7.

Now I cannot save a website directly to a folder within my favourites, I get the message unspecified error every time I try. I have tried various folders and they are all the same. I can save a web site to the main folder then drag and drop although I get numerous messages to click through from the UAC which never used to happen when dragging and dropping folders in the favourites.

Anyone know what is wrong and how to fix this?

Axel

I can only speak from the Vista point of view having not used 7.
When I set up a home network, I also moved all the "Blue" folders from the "C" drive to my data partition "E" and this caused the same problem.
Just moving the "Favorites" folder back didn't solve it, I had to "Re-associate" it as I recall.
If that's what you've done, I'll try and dig out any notes I made at the time to see if there are any that might help.

I thought I had squirreled away something on this!
Hope it helps!
