Cannot print eticket

  tristar 10:26 26 Apr 09

I have a Canon Pixma iP5200 with my computer running XP home.
Went to print out an eticket and I'm getting 'printer offline' message, but printer is on and will print docs, photos, stored on the computer.
I looked at the search forum pages, and the problem is mentioned, but no solution there has helped me.
I'm probably missing something obvious, but how can I get the printer to go online?

The saved document in word or your WP program.

I assume you were trying to print direct from the browser.

Yes, I was trying a direct print.
I'll try the 'save as' option. Didn't think of that!

Tried 'save as' option, trouble is, the logos on the eticket form don't print out - I imagine any eticket missing parts of the original form would not be acceptable.
What a pity these forms aren't in .pdf format, have just printed out a ferry ticket from .pdf with no problems!
Anyway, thanks for your help.

Which is a known problem is some Web page situations.
Try a screen print Ctrl/Print Screen
or down load - Gadin Print Screen]
Then edit it in an image editor[Crop to relevant area]

Suddenly occurred to me I was using Firefox browser.
Changed to BTYahoo and form printed out with no problem!
Will use BT browser for etickets in future.
