Cannot load images/graphics from web sites

  PapaPumpkin 07:02 30 Nov 03

Whilst surfing, some, if not most, of the time I am unable to load images from web sites. The browser will show rectangular boxes containing a red X. Anyboby know what's going on. Thanks for your help.

It could be that the Web page you're trying to view simply is missing its images, or Internet Explorer may be goofing up on rendering the page.

If no images are ever displayed, you might want to check this setting:

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click on Tools at the top of the screen
3. Click on Internet Options
4. Click on the Advanced tab
5. Scroll down the list till you see Show pictures and make sure that is checked.

Or: click here

Another thing to try is emptying Temp Int Folder.

Does Java need checking in IE-tools-advanced? If you haven't got Java installed there are threads about the Sun download site.

Sorry should be IE -tools-options-advanced.
