I deleted Epson Stylus printer and re installed ans it was not functioning, and now am getting the above message showing even though it will print. It shows up for that staus monitor then a new messgae comes up "cannot find file". Is there any way of correcting this?

Un install again then using the Find tool search for that dll file and delete it. Then re boot then re install

Already tried that one - no such file it says.

I found this solution on this site click here

a) You also need to remove the lpt port in Device Manager and let 95 redetect it on boot. If that doesn't do it, try ChangeDriver in DeviceManager.

b) 1. Select Start, Programs, Epson, and Epson Spool Manager 4.

2. Select the Queue menu and select Setup.

3. Put a check in the box next to "Use Windows Print Manager".

4. Select OK to exit Epson SpoolManager 4.
