How are you trying to download?

Are you using a download accelerator clicking a link or right click save file as?

Can you give us an example?

Where are you trying to download from? What type of file is it? What Operating System are you on? What version of IE are you on? etc...

We will need an example.

Clicking on the file, the box comes up asking whether i want to open or save the file, I click save and of it goes, only to be interrupted by the error box. I've tried to download zip files, mp3's etc and it's the same every time.

Examples of sites are thedugout.com etc.

How do I know which version of IE i am running?

This is only a problem which has occurred today.

To start off with "thedugout.com" doesn't exist.

To find out what version of IE you are running, go to "Help->About Internet Explorer"

IE is 6.8.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633co
