I've got my PC connected to a Router. There are times when I want to disable that connection, however, clicking on the two computers icon in the tray & then going for disable gives me this error message:
"It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support Plug-and-Play, or it may have been initiated by another user or the system account."

can anyone help cure this problem ihave 2 pc's connected by a router but one gives me this error thanks chippy os xp pro sp2

Are they using the same protocols aswell ? Right click your connection and view the properties, then look at the items in the big white box
