Cannot change read-only attributes in folders!

  Rikardos 17:46 04 Feb 04

Having a bit of trouble with my folders at the moment - I can't uncheck the read-only tab from any of my folders which means that some of my software isn't working the way it should (Netscape for example). Is there anything I can do?

And I'm running in Administrator mode on Windows XP Home Edition.

Many thanks,

Any good?

I've never understood the meaning of "read only","archive" and "hidden". Have never dabbled. Could you explain the meanings please?
