Cannot access Hotmail

  talia 18:40 30 Sep 04

Since installing SP2 when I try to access my inbox on hot mail I get a pop-up that states that I may have spyware om my PC then I am directed to a search page that lists spyware removal downloads that are not free.

I can surf the net otherwise but not get into Hotmail.

I have ran Spybot and CSShredder, both finding lots of applications but I still have the problem

Have a look for a file called HOSTS (no file extension.

On Windows 2000 or XP it would be in

In earlier versions of windows it would be in

If you find it, rename it to HOSTS.TXT and restart your PC.

Go to Google and type in Java, then download the Free Down load, this stopped some of my problems when I installed SP2

I downloaded Spysweeper and it removed the "Abou Blank" hijacker
