I have just set up a network between two computers one running XP and the other running Win98 The XP is the host machine and 98 the client, the problem is I can access the floppy but when I try to run the program on the floppy it says I cannot run the program due to restrictions set by the administrator (me) anyone any ideas what I have done wrong.

You may have to check the properties of the A:\ drive to make sure you have given enough access rights.
Presumably you are trying to access 98 from XP.

You need to make the files on the floppy available to the networked computers.
Go into my computer, left click the floppy drive.

Create a new folder on the floppy.

Put the files into the folder on the floppy, and then right click on the folder, select sharing and security, share this folder.

The files will then be available to others on the network.
