By saying you put your OS on the SSD and then moved the HDD do you mean that you cloned the OS and if so what tool did you use to do that? Also, when in BIOS is the boot order set to boot off your SSD as it should? Is there information that you would like to recover from the HDD? If not you could attempt to format, initialize, partition, etc. If you have data on the drive you could give Linux Live CD/USB a try. Another option would be either contacting professional recovery specialists or looking up a data (partition) recovery tool online. Sadly, I cannot recommend any, but a quick Google search should provide the needed result. Keep in mind that further attempts to recover the data could lead to data loss. Also, if you start writing information on the drive most likely you will lose the previous data beyond recovery.
