Can you identify this font please?

What font is being used there?? Keep seeing on other peoples PCs and I like it but can't find it...

Also what the procedure to get WinXP Home to use it as the default font???

Thats the same font you're using now (if you've not changed it), It's just being smoothed using ClearType. Cleartype is designed to make Fonts look nicer when viewed using TFT's (I don't use it myself though)

Right click your Desktop,
Properties
Appearance
Effects
Choose ClearType from the font smoothing drop down list.

Its Trebuchet MS..

XP already uses this as its default font I believe well it does on mine.

It looks very much like Tahoma. Can't help with WinXP though,I run WinMe. Sorry.

To be honest its the effect i was looking for (although i didn't realise it!!!)

Isn't it only supposed to be used on laptops and TFT screens - looks slightly blurred on my monitor!!!
