can I use an old internal drive as an external

I have an old computer with an ide internal hard drive can I use this as an external drive,if I take it out? and if so how do I connect it up? The computer I wish to connect to runs xp pro.

Yes just get a caddy, You just open the caddy and plug the cable into the drive.

The drive when fitted as to be set as Master, but if the drive was the only one in the computer. You should not need to change anything
