Can I use my ntl bb connection with my laptop?

I have ntl bb on my home PC. I would like to use the same connection for my laptop i.e. unlpug from the ethernet on my main PC and plug into my laptop.

What set up do I have to do on my laptop?
The guy at ntl seemed to say that just connecting the ntl cable and re-booting would do it but I cannot get a connection.

you have to configure connection details as per your pc for it to work, possibly installation cd or suchlike?

johnnyrockers advice is correct. Use your installation cd on the laptop.
The procedure will eventually tell you that you already have an account, and the set up will complete.
