Can I reduce video clips for uploading?

  musigal86 23:40 16 Jul 07

I have some large video clip files which open as Quicktime movie files, and are each about 160MB, which is too much to upload where I want to. Is there a way of making files smaller without losing content? And preferably without paying out any money for new software!

Many thanks in advance!

Cannot remember the one I got with camcorder but you can send Video by E-Mail with it. I think it reduces the Image size of the Video not the content.

Just had a look Presto VideoWorks6 it also compress's the Video

Have a look at my post here

You could try using the MOV to AVI converter I mention, then import the resultant file into Windows Movie Maker. You can edit it if you wish, and at then end, you have the option to reduce the WMV file size to whatever you want.

Thanks for your help guys, I've been able to use the Allok MOV converter successfully!
