Can I have wireless with 56k dial-up?

May sound like a daft question but can you get wireless routers that allow me to use 56k dialup, or are they just for broadband?

Routers - "No", wireless 56k dialup modems - "Yes".

I'm sure I also saw a "wireless" dialup modem on the shelves at PC World last time I was in. They certainly had a Bluetooth modem in the laptop section.

I've been using a BT(Sagem) On-Air Wireless modem with my dial-up for some time now. It's about 5 metres from the PC and works fine. It sure was a relief to get rid of that trailing wire.

Thanks everyone. I think the BT solution is the best and i see they are going really cheap right now. But apparently they don't work with XP SP2, or "it depends on the SP2 installation" whatever that means. So I'm in a bit of a dilemma right now.

I use XP SP2 and the BT modem works fine.

hallamj - I suggest it won't work unless you have SP2 installed. SP2 introduced WiFI control to XP.
