I have just changed from dial up with AOL to Broadband. Can I send and receive faxes using my broadband connection? I am using XP Pro but have now got rid of my old fax modem. What do I need to do??

Can I use Fax/modem at the same time?

Yes with a microfilter
A filter separates the voice, fax and standard dial-up modem data from the Broadband ADSL digital data and is required on each telephony device attached to your nominated Broadband ADSL phone line.

SANTOS7 has hit the nail on the screw. Get your fax modem back! Far better results, but unplug from the line when not in use to thwart dialers.
