Can i dual boot windows xp from vista

Hi there i have vista home premuim and i bought a printer that dosent seem to work but works on my xp pc so is there anyway to dual boot xp and vista without me loosing the files i have in vista already

First of all you should make a partition to install XP on. After you install XP Vista will still be on its partition but it won't be possible to boot into Vista. Vista boot pro is a very useful program that can sort this and the instructions are below,

If you are not very confident then the only other option is to install xp then vista again. On the other hand, post your printer make and model and I will have a look to see if it is vista certified.
