Is it possible to permanently disable a LAN connection (mine is through a Belkin wireless router) in one profile only in Win XP Home? I know that I can go through Network Connections and manually disable it but this disables it on all login profiles until I manually enable it again.

Many thanks

Have you tryed using Set Program Access and Defaults ?

I take it you are trying to stop a user from accessing the net etc.....

Partly. I would like to remove all access to the net in one profile so that I don't have to run my firewall software in this profile. By the way, I think I must have removed my 'set program access and defaults' shortcut. How can I get it back?

Many thanks

Start > Programs.... it's at the top of list along with Windows Update.....
