Can I delete this Folder safely ?

I run Windows XP Home.

Because there was no Uninstall with a Photo Edit programme named Paint Shop Pro version 4, I Uninstalled it by going to the Change/Remove icon in the Control Panel.

I have been now to Windows Explorer and the Paint Shop Pro folder is still there with a sub folder with a file in it named Back Up folder ctl 3d32dll.

Can I delete the two folders manually now or is this dll. file something I should leave.

I notice that the PPP folder icon has gone from my Start>All programmes list.

safely delete the folder and everything in it, but....

I suggest that you create a temporary folder in your My docs folder (call it anything you like) and copy the suspect file into it.

The delete the PSP folder and all its contents. Use your computer for a few days, and if all is well - as I'm sure it will be - you can delete your temporary folder.

How big is it, if you are running XP home than a few kb's (probably) are nothing.

But if you must remove it then the Forum Editor is right, as usual.
