and mice to the same pc?

I want to use a normal wired set up in the room where the pc is, but use a wireless mouse and keyboard in the room next door so I can control the pc to watch BBCi (and the like)on the flat panel.

By the way ...I'm not really sure how all this might work ... do I need a dual output graphics card?

Thanks

John

I don't know for sure, but suspect they would conflict with each other. What is wrong with just using the wireless versions and carrying them into the other room when you watch TV?

I've certainly used a wired mouse, and a wireless one at the same time.

No problem

I suspect using keyboards would probably be ok, as no signal is sent until a key is pressed.
There is no harm in trying.

All the best

There's nothing wrong with carrying the keyboard back and forth, but since I'll need to buy the wireless keyboard and mouse it would just make life that little bit easier if the dual set up works.

and finally I've got the pc connected to the tv (as a second monitor) and I've set up a second keyboard.

I bought a Compact Wireless Keyboard with Integrated Touch Pad and it works a treat. click here
