Can I clean a corrupted DVD-RW disc?

I have three corrupted DVD-RW discs.

They have a RAW file on them that Nero 6 or Windows XP cannot clean. Nero starts the erase process and then stops and ejects the disc.

Is there a way of cleaning/formating these discs so I can use them again?

Thank you

You need something like InCD installed to format DVD-RW discs. This should be part of the Nero Installation, but can be downloaded from the Nero website.

Thank BT, I'll give it ago. But why won't the normal 'Erase DVD' feature in Nero 6 errase these discs?

If all you want to do is re-use the disks, is it really worth worrying about, for the sake of £1 each?

I never use rewritable disks - CD or DVD. I've found them unreliable in the past. Write-once are so cheap...
