Can I Boost Wireless Connection?

  Viv-208691 21:09 01 Dec 04

Hi, Ive just bought a brand new Sony Vaio A Series laptop. It has built in Centrino. It keeps on losing my wireless network connection, (I use a WAG54G). Ive got an older Dell laptop that has no problems staying connected.

Can anyone suggest a way I could boost or increase the connection quality?

take it back! if the wireless device is a card try removing it and putting it back in. If otherwise return it from whence it came.

Hi, I would advise following howard60's suggestion. If you 'fiddle' you will lose your warranty. Best of luck.

best thing to do is to go to a local pc dealer and explain to them what make it is and they will guide you in the right direction they do work my mates laptop has stabled out now which is good news
